David C. Smith Announces Oron Refreshed from Wildside

David C. Smith has completed his reworking of Oron, his 1978 S&S novel originally published by Zebra (as seen below). He’s calling it a “refreshed” version of the novel, as it’s not a heavy revision, just an improvement and cleanup of the prose. The manuscript is now on its way to Wildside Press, to be released to us soon!

Howard Andrew Jones Reveals Hanuvar Map

Over on his blog (which has lain fallow for a while as he pounds out S&S like a pulp-era workhorse), Jones announced that he’s handed in the second Hanuvar novel to Baen and is working on the third. Even better, he shared a gorgeous map of Hanuvar’s world—inspired by the ancient Mediterranean—drawn by no less than his own son Darian!
